Pricing for Children and Teens
Students may begin lessons with me at any time of the year!
Your child’s tuition includes:
-
Two types of “meetings” with me:
-
Individual piano lessons at their weekly time during Fall and Spring teaching weeks
-
One studio recital per semester to share music and celebrate success with other students
-
Additional performance opportunities (community events, enrichment programs, etc.) as available
-
-
One free make-up lesson if your child needs to miss a lesson during a teaching week. Make-up lessons are given during the designated make-up week
-
Individualized weekly practice assignments for your child
-
Personalized music book recommendations
-
Personalized arrangements of music selected by your child
Why is pricing "per meeting" instead of "per lesson"?
Your child will learn from me in piano lessons as well as in recitals, so I include recitals as part of my semester tuition. Recitals and other performing opportunities are essential because they provide a time to share their hard work and build community with other students and families.
-
Fall Semester: 16 lessons + 1 studio recital = 17 meetings
-
Weekly lessons September through January
-
No lessons Thanksgiving week or Winter break
-
-
Spring Semester: 16 lessons + 1 studio recital = 17 meetings
-
Weekly lessons January through May
-
No lessons February break or April break
-
-
Summer Lesson Packages: availability changes each Summer
-
I am available some weeks during June, July, and August. Families choose the number of lessons that work for them. Summers provide a great opportunity for new students to take several lessons before committing to the whole Fall term!
-
When is payment due?
When your child joins my studio, you make a commitment to register for the full 16-week semester. Students who join after the start of the term register for the remaining lessons in the semester. Since this can feel like a big commitment, I encourage students to take a free trial lesson.
