Pricing for Children and Teens

Students may begin lessons with me at any time of the year!

Your child’s tuition includes:

  • Two types of “meetings” with me:

    • Individual piano lessons at their weekly time during Fall, Winter, and Spring teaching weeks

    • One studio recital or class per term to share music and celebrate success with other students

    • Additional performance opportunities (community events, enrichment programs, etc.) as available

  • One free make-up lesson if your child needs to miss a lesson during a teaching week. Make-up lessons are given during the designated make-up week.

  • Individualized weekly practice assignments for your child

  • Personalized music book recommendations

  • Personalized arrangements of music selected by your child

30 Minute Lessons

$44

per meeting

45 Minute Lessons

$64

per meeting

60 Minute Lessons

$85

per meeting

Why is pricing "per meeting" instead of "per lesson"?

Your child will learn from me in piano lessons as well as in recitals, so I include recitals as part of my term tuition. Recitals and other performing opportunities are essential because they provide a time to share their hard work and build community with other students and families.

  • Fall Term: 11 lessons + 1 studio class = 12 meetings

    • Weekly lessons August through October

    • No lessons during Fall break

  • Winter Term: 11 lessons + 1 studio recital = 12 meetings

    • Weekly lessons November through February

    • No lessons during Thanksgiving or Winter break

  • Spring Term: 11 lessons + 1 studio recital = 12 meetings

    • Weekly lessons March through May

    • No lessons during Spring break

  • Summer Lesson Packages: availability changes each Summer

    • I am available some weeks during June and July. Families choose the number of lessons that work for them. Summers provide a great opportunity for new students to take several lessons before committing to the whole Fall term!

When is payment due?

When your child joins my studio, you make a commitment to register for the full 11-week term. Students who join after the start of the term register for the remaining lessons in the semester. Since this can feel like a big commitment, I encourage students to take a free trial lesson.

What my students' parents are saying:

Lei G.

Elizabeth is a great teacher! She is experienced, patient, and teaches piano in a fun way. My older boy has learned piano with her for over 10 years and my younger one about 2 years. Both of them like her.

Claire C.

Elizabeth is exceptionally talented as both a pianist and teacher. She is able to meet every student at his/her own unique level, whether beginner or advanced, and is gifted and patient with all personalities. She is incredibly organized with clear communication to both students and families, and her students, when investing years of work with her, develop into truly outstanding pianists. Highly recommend Elizabeth as the highest caliber of instructor -- we are incredibly fortunate to have found her!

Heidi K.

Ms. Elizabeth is an amazing piano teacher for our 6 year old. She has some fantastic out-of-the box methods that help get our kiddo interested-- for example, learning rhythm through body movements rather than just academic learning. Ms. Elizabeth honestly cares about our child and I would recommend her 100%!
